CPG Girls Love...Gwen Stefani!
First she was just a girl, but now she ain't no hollaback girl! That "girl" is none other than Gwen Stefani, formerly of the highly successful band No Doubt. She's now a diva in her own right and like Madonna, she has married style, fashion and music to be a real powerhouse!

Born in Anaheim , California , Gwen took a liking to early punk and ska, but did also admit to taking a notice of pop culture and our diva, Madonna back then. She fronted the band No Doubt and rose to fame with the huge success of " Tragic Kingdom " in 1995. Right from the get-go Gwen exuded a sense of style that would become more and more evident with each music video. Even the video "Don't Speak" showed how she may just be eclipsing her band mates to go solo. But not before several albums, hair colors, videos and fashion changes. ;)

Soon, Gwen got married to Bush front man Gavin Rossdale and they both became rock royalty. Many albums and collections later, Gwen officially announced herself as a solo artist with the album, "Love, Angel, Music, Baby" standing for L.A.M.B., which is also Gwen's successful clothing line. Of the inevitable Madonna comparisons, she has said, "People say that I copy her. But show me any girl my age that wasn't influenced by her."

Gwen has now taken her first album on the road, and you can catch her around the country this holiday season. Our gal Madonna had this to say about Gwen's style - "We work with a lot of the same people. She married a Brit. She's got blonde hair and she likes fashion. I like her."
